The Joy of Learning Begins...

(Babies, Toddlers, Twos with Grown-Up)

Judy's Music

This vibrant music and movement program, led since 1989 by Enchanted Garden founder, Judy Hirt-Manheimer, offers children, parents, and caregivers a shared, fun-filled musical experience. Boys and girls learn basic music skills and are introduced to a wide variety of musical instruments. They move to the music with props such as a parachute, scarves, puppets and bubbles. Each class has a theme based on seasonal and holiday cycles, incorporating a carefully-researched playlist of the highest quality music, ranging from children’s tunes to classical, folk, jazz, and world music. Part of each session is devoted to free time for children and grown-ups to socialize, make friends, and receive expert parenting advice.

$225 for four-month semester. Sign up anytime. No extra charge for siblings. Tuition includes up to two free classes each week

Judy’s music class has been the highlight of our week since my daughter was eight months old. I have watched her absorbing the music and happiness that surrounds us during this hour. I have watched her language skills grow as well as her confidence.

Judy and her team have created a little cocoon where children are lovingly encouraged to bloom and grow.

The music at the EG gets you at the core; it moves the adults as well as the children.

Once you enter the Enchanted Garden you become part of a family. The friends you meet become friends for life, and this applies both to the children and parents.

Twos Preschool Prep

Since 2002, the Enchanted Garden’s nurturing, experienced teachers have eased children’s delicate transition into a school setting. Our classroom was designed by Jim Henson artist Tim Clarke to spark children’s imagination and creativity. Children sing, dance, play instruments, do art projects and hear stories from around the world. They play with educational toys, put on shows at the puppet theater, build at the lego table or with blocks, use puzzles, draw at easels, put on costumes, and climb on indoor playground equipment. Class size is kept small, allowing the teachers to focus on each child’s needs and interests. There is a balance between structured and unstructured activities so that children can experience the joy of discovery and become independent learners. Toilet training not required.

$395 per half year for each day.

I credit the Enchanted Garden with the fact that all three of my children are confident and love learning. It is the best introduction to school a child can have.

In addition to introducing Ballet steps and vocabulary, we use props, stories, and simple crafts to create a well-rounded educational experience and instill a love of dance. Ballet clothing is optional.

My daughter absolutely adores Ms.Beth’s ballet class. She has absolute trust in her teacher and especially loves the props and activities Ms. Beth prepares each week. The amount of preparation and thought that goes into each class is impressive and so so appreciated.
