JAZZ FOR GRADES K-12

Jazz combines popular music and movement style, while incorporating the necessary skills required to accomplish leaps, turns, balance, and kicks. It is a technique that forms the basis of many styles of popular dance and is therefore recommended as part of a comprehensive dance education.

Jazz

Express Yourself. Jazz introduces dancers to the polished, theatrical style seen on Broadway and in contemporary performance, with classes built around clean technique, rhythm, flexibility, turns, leaps, and expressive choreography set to age-appropriate music. Dancers learn to perform with both personality and precision, developing a strong technical foundation that carries over into many other dance styles.
