The All Music Ensemble
(Grades 3-5 & 6-8)
Practicing an instrument at home is just half the story. Music comes alive when it is played with other musicians. In The All Music Ensemble, young musicians rehearse, perform and record in a professional studio. Master teacher Andrew Beals creates musical arrangements custom tailored to the individual students’ skill levels. This allows mixed level musicians to play together in the same group; beginners get easier parts while advanced musicians get more challenging parts.
Musical selections are drawn from a wide variety of genres including jazz, classical, rock, pop, movie themes, world music and more. This broad perspective on music makes musicians more versatile and adds to their appreciation and enjoyment of music.
The program culminates in a performance and a professional studio recording. Open to instrumentalists and vocalists. Intermediate & advanced students welcome. Beginners must have at least 1 year of playing/singing experience.

Voice in the Studio
(Grades 6-8)
Become a more skilled & confident vocalist and performer. We sing karaoke style, record in a professional studio and shoot music videos. Singers quickly and naturally form a support group for each other, which does wonders for self-confidence. We believe the best learning happens when students are fully engaged and having fun. That (and making cool music videos) is our goal.

Music Theory
A foundation of basic music theory is essential to becoming a complete musician. In this 30 minute weekly class, students build the fundamental knowledge necessary to understand the music they listen to and perform. Topics include rhythm, harmony, key centers, intervals, melody, ear training and more. Andrew Beals delivers this knowledge in a way that is fun and engaging. Recommended for all music students.

Voice Acting
Act with your voice! Record stories for all to hear. Use sound effects, create characters, have lots of fun! From fairytales to original stories. Ongoing enrollment. Audition opportunities for professional gigs. Showcases and end-of-year broadcast finale.

SUMMER MUSIC IMMERSION
Have fun, make friends and get inspired in this 4-hour, two week program for instrumentalists and singers. Young musicians play together as a group in a wide variety of musical styles including pop, rock, classical, jazz and more. Time is set aside for individual & small group coaching. We also write & record an original song. Each session culminates in a professionally produced final performance video to share with family and friends. Basic proficiency on an instrument or voice required.

Summer Music Immersion
(Grades 6-8 & advanced 5th graders)
I just got back from my kids' summer camp concert at the Enchanted Garden - so IMPRESSED! They performed jazz (including improv), rock, classical and pop songs PLUS they wrote, produced and recorded their own song - a class of 2 sax, 1 flute, 1 piano, I violin, 2 voice. Big shout out to Andrew Beals and Noah Manheimer for their incredible instruction and motivation. I highly recommend this summer camp!
