Actors Workshop
The actors in this program are given two performance opportunities each year, including ensemble and solo work on stage and on camera using TV scripts and commercials. Students learn contemporary vocal techniques to build vocal skills and solid acting technique to designed to help them break down a script and develop truthful characters and performances. Class size is limited so that each student is given lots of individual attention and shown by the teacher how to shine as a performer.

This fun-filled class provides physical activity for children who love to be on the move. It develops children's coordination, balance, strength, body awareness, self-confidence and social skills. The first 30 minutes are structured, leaving 15 minutes for exercise on our professional gymnastics equipment specially designed for early childhood, and for parents to make new friends in a bright, spacious studio open to nature.

Dancing Butterflies Camp

This class is perfect for students who have begun or are ready to begin pointe work. In addition to developing pointe technique, we will discuss the basics of purchasing shoes, sewing shoes, and proper pointe shoe etiquette. Classes will include warm ups, barre technique, and center floor work. There will be a visit by a trained pointe shoe fitter from whom shoes may be purchased. Budding Ballerinas
Where it begins. This class is the young dancer’s first step into an appreciation of music and movement in a studio setting. In addition to introducing Ballet steps and vocabulary, we use props, stories, and simple crafts to create a well-rounded educational experience and instill a love of dance. Ballet clothing is optional.
Ms. Beth received her BA in Dance Therapy and Psychology from Goucher College, and has studied Ballet, Jazz, and Modern. She has many years of experience teaching movement with adults and children in therapeutic settings, and is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga instructor. Ms. Beth has taught at the Enchanted Garden since 2000, specializing in teaching dance to very young students.

Broadway Dance

Children and grown-ups are invited to interact with recordings of the world's best music, including children's melodies, classical, jazz, and world music.
Babies absorb the music through all their senses, moving with the help of adults until they are ready to move to the music independently.
Toddlers, twos and threes learn how to keep a beat, move with the music, experience the emotional content and imagery associated with music, and become creatively involved in the art of music making and movement/dance.
The fun of music making is enhanced with scarves, puppets and a broad range of instruments, including violin, banjo, guitar, keyboard, world instruments, and more.
Part of each class will be devoted to physical activity on professional equipment designed for this age group.
With the expert guidance of a kind, loving, and caring teachers, children acquire skills and a love of learning that can last a lifetime.
Since 2002, the Enchanted Garden’s nurturing, experienced teachers have eased children’s delicate transition into a school setting. The classroom was designed by Jim Henson artist Tim Clarke to spark children’s imagination and creativity. Children do musical activities, art projects, hear stories from around the world, and learn skills needed for preschool. They play with educational toys, draw at easels, climb on indoor playground equipment and more. Class size is limited to 8, allowing the teachers to focus on each child’s needs and interests. There is a balance between structured and unstructured activities so that children can experience the joy of discovery and become independent learners. Toilet training not required. Adjustments to activities, enhanced cleaning, teachers wearing masks and other procedures will be followed to help keep children safe.

LimeLight Theater Workshop at the Enchanted Garden (Grades 3-8)
This Fall, LimeLight Theater presents its opening debut at the Enchanted Garden. In this workshop, we will choose a piece of literature or a play that can be re-storied, re-worked, and deconstructed in ways that acknowledge the stages young people experience as they grow.
Music, movement, singing as well as other experimental theater choices will be used to create a final performance at the Enchanted Garden. All members of the theater company will participate.
Beyond being exhilarating and fun, theater can be a rewarding social experience. Participants will be given opportunities to try on roles and practice skills that embrace individual creativity and encourage a sense of community through significant interpersonal connections.
Theater can also build self-confidence rapidly through improvisational body work, creative re-imagining using cognitive skills, and developing an adventurous spirit by working with others in a group setting over a period of time. Enhancing individual strengths allows each student to benefit from the rewards that come through creation and achievement.
